Paul Wittenberger's art is truly
the interwoven
relationship of painting and film. He began painting
at a young age using it as a venue of self-expression.
Paul has traveled abroad and spent most of his
childhood in Liberia, West Africa. His passion for
the arts and film inspired him to go further. He
studied film at Full Sail, and since leaving film
school he has journeyed across the United States
living in Michigan, Iowa, Florida, Colorado, and now
Los Angeles. His art work is a journey of his life
and his experiences. Each era in his life protrayed
on canvas.
His oil paintings echo humanistic pains, political
frustrations, and religious goad. His work can be
defined as impact on the 'individual' in the America
that we have created. By using self-developed skills
in texture and layering, Paul's pieces are truly
unique and you can find many different feelings within
each one.
Paul Wittenberger is a filmmaker at heart. His
original pieces reflect the stories and issues found
within his movies and screenplays. His work has been
used as backdrops in films to which provide richness
and production quality. He also invites other
filmmakers to use his pieces in their movies to
reflect a characters' state of mind. Paul's debut
gallery show in LA was at the Runway Boutique
September 2006, and he is thankful for all of the
support of fans and observers.
Paul's work expands as new pieces are being made on
a
continuous basis. Be looking for new art work posted
regularly!
